Chosen by the CEO of Clipsal among candidates in Schneider Electric to become the CEO of the Joint Venture, spanning from Middle East to Korea, with partners in the different countries. Challenge to turn around a loss-making company, providing vision and direction for the business, growing talent in the company and leveraging the know how of Schneider Electric in international business development.

Objectives

Smooth transition to the Joint Venture and profit improvement (loss making company). Deep legal and organizational restructuring to convert a holding company into a commercial consistent entity


Set-up

15 countries in Asia and Middle East, with local Joint Ventures, 7 factories, 4 R&D centers


Achievements

Turned loss making company into profitable growing business - +40% sales and +9pt EBIT in 5 years. Due in particular to change of mix to develop profitable business, focus on high end segment and projects, divestment of loss making activities in Asia.
