After a few years in corporate research, I was interested in business. I was proposed to join a small subsidiary that had just been set to face competition and develop a commercial spirit. I joined as Project Manager, then was promoted to the CEO position.

I was given this fantastic opportunity early in my career to learn for real the essentials of managing a business end-to-end, moreover in a very competitive and demanding business: leadership, commercial skills, serving customers, P&L responsibility

Objectives

Convert an internal department into a commercial activity. Expand business outside the holding company to manage seasonality and stay profitable.
